Miles For Mothers Mother's Day 5K & 10K Run and Scenic Walk (2.5 Miles)

All proceeds from this event will be donated to the LI2Day Breast Cancer Walk,
which raises money for breast cancer support and research on Long Island.

5K & 10K Individual Awards to the top overall male and female finishers,
and the top 3 male and female finishers in each age category:
14 and under, 15-19, 20-29,30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89
Raffles
Post-race drawing for chinese auction raffle. Two raffle tickets per entrant. Additional tickets available for purchase. See raffle list on the right.
Course Information
Route Description:
Start on Canal St. heading North. Left onto Montauk Hwy. Left onto Lake Ave. Continue onto Edwards Ave. Left onto Senix Ave. Turn around on southern end of Senix Ave. Right on Cedar St. Left on Lake Ave. Right on Crosby St. Finish line at Neville Park on Canal St. 10K runners will repeat this loop.
Walkers will follow the same route except turn right onto Senix Ave. from Edwards Ave.

Take the LIE to exit 69S or Sunrise Hwy. to exit 59S (Wading River Rd.); go south on Wading River Rd. to end; right on Railroad Ave. to Main St.; right on Main St., three blocks and turn left on Canal St. to Neville Park.
About The Long Island 2 Day Breast Cancer Walk and Team Breast Buddies
The Long Island 2 Day Breast Cancer Walk this year is on June 11th and 12th. It is a 35 mile walk from Smith Point Park to Cathedral Pines and back over 2 days. Part of the committment for teams walking is to raise money for breast cancer support and research on Long Island. The team 'Breast Buddies' is 6 high school students, 5 students from Westhampton Beach HS, and 1 student from Port Jefferson HS. Team Breast Buddies: Christa Kearns, Hanna Bisagni, Brianna Spano, Holly Zappola, Sam Lacetera, Annica Penn.
