About Seeds of Hope for Project Tanzania
Seeds of Hope for Project Tanzania was established in 2006 after Debi Mazura, a local resident and teacher at Eastport Elementary School, returned from a trip to Tanzania where she witnessed poverty and famine beyond explanation. Upon her return many friends, co-workers and local merchants and businesses supported her efforts to make Seeds of Hope a reality. During the last four years this dedicated group has raised money to build water tanks, provide food, medical supplies and provide for the educational needs of more than 30 children. Currently, Seeds of Hope for Project Tanzania is raising funds to continue these efforts and also support the needs of orphaned children in Hedaru, Tanzania. The money raised from this event will solve the immediate needs of the children including shelter, food, and school fees. The goal in the future is to raise enough money to build an orphanage. Please help us support Seeds of Hope for Project Tanzania.
